Tips for little artists
Tip: Press lightly with the pencil first. Trace the lines you like with the marker, then erase the rest.
Tip: Space the four windows evenly. Draw the middle two first, then the outer two.
Tip: Make the wing slant back toward the tail. It makes the plane look like it is moving.
Make it yours
Plane in the clouds
Draw fluffy clouds and a sun around the airplane.
Plane with a banner
Draw a long ribbon flying behind the tail with a word on it.
Your own airline
Color the plane in your favorite colors and draw a star on the tail fin.
Common mistakes and easy fixes
The wing points forward
Slant the wing down and back, toward the tail.
The windows are uneven
Draw a light pencil line along the body first and put each window on it.
The tail looks stuck on
Narrow the back of the body first, then grow the tail fin out of the top line.
