Draw the penguin
- 6 steps
Winter drawings for kids: a snowman, a snowflake, a penguin and a polar bear, each with step pictures and a printable sheet. Good for snow days, the weeks after the holidays, or a January class theme.
A snowman is three circles, which makes it one of the easiest whole-class drawings there is. See directed drawing for kids for how to run it step by step.

A snowman, a snowflake, mittens, a hot drink with steam, a penguin or a polar bear. A snowflake is a good one for patient kids: start with a plus sign, add an X over it, then small Vs on every arm.
Most winter animals are round and furry, which makes them easy. A penguin is one tall oval with a white belly. A polar bear is a big oval body with a smaller oval head and round ears.
