How the tutorials are made

Crayons, washable markers, colored pencils, an eraser and white drawing paper laid out on a table

Each tutorial starts from simple shapes: a circle, an oval, a triangle. Every step is its own picture, and the lines added in that step are drawn in blue so they are easy to spot. The last step is always color.

Who this site is for

Parents who want a quick, quiet activity. Teachers who need a directed drawing for Friday afternoon. Homeschool families who want drawing in their week. The steps are written so kids can follow them, but the site itself is written for grown-ups.

What you won't find here

  • No sign-up to see a tutorial or download a step sheet.
  • No accounts for kids, no comments and no uploads.
  • No pop-ups.

How this site pays for itself

Right now it doesn't: there are no ads and no affiliate links. If ads are added later, they will run with the ad network's child-directed settings and stay out of the steps. The disclosure page will always say what is on the site.
